Sri Balakrishna Bhat

Sri Balakrishna Bhat, foldly called as Sri Bhat Ji is the Pradhana Madhwa Priest of our temple. He is one of the five founding priests of SBAT. He hails from a family of vedic scholars. He did adhyayanam of Rig Veda – kramantham in addition to Tarka & Nyaya Sastras and Vyakarana at Poorna Prajna Vidya Peetha, Bangalore, India. He follows the Madhva Sampradaya and is an expert at designing mandalas. He hasover 25 years of experience and is fluent in Sanskrit, Kannada, Tulu, English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. He is an erudite scholar on Asvalayana Sutra Prayoga for the performance of the shodasha karmas and other poojas.

Sri Ganesan Rajamani Eeshana Shivacharyar

Sri Ganesan Rajamani Eeshana Shivacharyar, fondly addressed as Sri Ganesan Shivacharyar is the Pradhana Shaiva Agama Priest (Shivacharyar) of our temple. is one of the five founding priests of SBAT. He hails from a family of Shivacharyars. A native of Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India, he did his adyayanam of Vedas and Shaiva Agama from Sri Karpaga Vinayagar Veda and Agama Paatasala, Pillaiyarpatti, TamilNadu, India. He has worked as a pradhana acharya of various Hindu temples around the world including countries like Mauritius before coming to USA. He has over 30 years of experience and has performed many kumbhabhishekams. He is proficient in Tamil, Sanskrit and English. He is an expert on Vastu Sastra, performing the shodasha karmas and other poojas.

Sri Sridharan Sundararajan

Sri Sridharan Sundararajan, fondly called as Sri Sridharan Vadyar is the Pradhana Sri Vaishnava Krishna Yajur Veda Purohita of our temple. He is one of the five founding priests of SBAT. He hails from a family of Yajur Ghanapatis. A native of Bangalore, Karnataka, India, he has done adhyayanam of Krishna Yajur Veda – Kramantham at Sri Veda Rakshana Nidhi Trust, Kunniyur, Tamil Nadu, India. He is also an expert on the Nalayaira divya prabandham. He belongs to Swayamacharya Tradition. He is well versed in the Apasthamba and Bodhayana Sutra Prayogam. He has over 20 years of experience in performing shodasha karmas and other poojas and is fluent in Sanskrit, English, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu.

Sri Thyagarajan Subburathinam

Sri Thyagarajan Subburathinam, fondly called as Pandit Thyagu sastrigal is the Pradhana Krishna Yajur Veda Smartha Vaidika Priest of our temple. He one of the five founding priests of SBAT. He hails from a family of Yajur Ghanapatis. A native of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India, he has done adhyayanam of Krishna Yajur Veda – Ghanantham at Shankara Matam, Kumbakonam. He is well versed in Asvalayana, Apasthamba and Bodhayana Sutra Prayogam. He is also an expert of Shaktam and Sri Vidya Upasana. He has over 20 years of experience and is an authoritative scholar on the shodasha karmas and other poojas. He is fluent in Sanskrit, English, Hindi,Tamil, Marathi and Telugu.

Sri Venkatesh Rajangam, fondly called as Sri Venkatesh Vadyar is the Pradhana Rig Veda Smartha Vaidika Priest of our temple. He is one of the five founding priests of SBAT. He hails from a family of Rig Ghanapatis. A native of Kadayanallur, Tamil Nadu, India, he has done adhyayanam of Rig Veda –Ghanantham at Kulithalai Paatasala, Tamil Nadu, India. He is well versed in Asvalayana, Apasthamba and Bodhayana Sutra Prayogam. He has over 20 years of experience and is an authoritative scholar on the shodasha karmas and other poojas. He is fluent in Tamil, Sanskrit and English.

Sri Kanjarla Seshadri Satyanarayana Charyulu

Sri Kanjarla Seshadri Satyanarayana Charyulu, fondly called as Sri Acharya Seshadri Gaaru, is the Sri Vaishnava Paancharaatra Agama and Shukla Yajur Veda Priest of our temple. He is an expert on Sanskrit Vyakaranam. He did his adyayanam of Shukla Yajur Veda, Sanskrit Vyakarana, Divya Pradandham, Sri Vaishnava Granthas and Puranas at Jeeyar Educational Trust, Vijayawada, India. He is a follower of the Srimad Ubhaya Vedanta Acharya Peetham. His expertise includes pravachanas on Sri Vaishnava Sampradhaya and Srimad Ramayanam in Sanskrit and Telugu. He has over 5 years of experience in US and India

Sri Manikandan Venkatraman

Sri Manikandan Venkatraman, fondly called Sri Mani, is the Shaiva Vaidika Priest of the temple. He has done adhyayanam of Krishna Yajur Veda – Kramantam from Shankara Matam, Chennai. He has over 5 years of experience in performing various nitya poojas at temples including the Ashok Nagar Anjaneya Temple and is fluent in Tamil and English.

Sri Bragadeesh Balasubramanian

Sri Bragadeesh Balasubramanian, fondly called Sri Srikanth , is the Shaiva Vaidika Priest of the temple. He has done adhyayanam of Krishna Yajur Veda – Kramantam from Sri Sadguru Sabha Vada Patasalai, Chennai. He has over 5 years of experience in performing various nitya poojas and other reglious actives. Temple and is fluent in Tamil and English.

Sri Vishwas Tantri

Sri Vishwas Tantri, fondly called Sri Vishwas Ji, is the Madhwa Priest of our temple. He has over 5 years of experience in doing various poojas and rituals as per Sri Madhwa Sampradhaya. He is a Tantrasara Aagama Praveena and an M.A. Sanskrit scholar. He has expertise on various stotras of Sri Madhwa Guru parampara. He is proficient in Sanskrit, Kannada, Tulu, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Sri Janardhana Shambukal

Sri Janardhana Shambukal, fondly called as Sri Jana, is the Assistant Madhwa Priest of our temple. He has authoritative knowledge and experience over 10 years in preparing the Neivedyams and Prasadams as per Sri Madhwa Samparadhayam. He is also responsible for the various religious preparations within the temple. He has over 10 years of experience working in Pejawar Mutt, India.

The panchasheel (mission) of SBA Temple are

  • Provide authentic religious service to help individuals and the community at large to perform various karmas.
  • Support the community as a whole by actively participating in various social causes.
  • Preserve and propagate the learning of the Vedas, Sastras and Puranas for generations to come.
  • Promote Hindu traditions, values, culture and heritage including music, dance, slokas and sanskrit among the current and future generations.
  • Protect the environment by implementing and supporting afforestation both within the temple property and across the world.

POLICIES
  1. There shall be no cost-based system. Be it a simple archana or big Pooja at the Temple or even a private religious event, neither the Temple nor the priests shall demand money. Any monetary contribution for religious event is purely a donation to the Temple and is totally voluntary.
  1. Strict Adherence to all religious ceremonies. Moola Vigraha Abhishekam (religious bathing) is performed in the morning, every day. The Deities are presented with special Nadaswaram Seva (Instrumentals) during Morning and Evening Poojas.
  1. DAIRY PRODUCTS
    a. Temple will use only the dairy products (milk, yogurt, etc) from OUR GOSHAALA for all abhishekams, neivedhyam (food offering) and prasaadams. NO OUTSIDE DAIRY PRODUCTS will be used.
    b. If the devotees desire, they may sponsor the milk from our Goshaala for abhishekams. Devotees can bring flowers, fruits, or dry items for the Poojas.
    c. Food served in the premises will not use any dairy products from outside. Our menu will reflect changes in the sweets and other items to reflect this.
  1. Only the food cooked within the Temple’s madapalli (holy kitchen) shall be offered to the Lord. The Temple shall have a religious cook who shall prepare prasaadams and neivedyams as per the religious guidelines. Devotees who wish to bring prasaadam to the Temple shall order the same from the Temple.
  1. Temple Timings -The Temple shall be open to all from 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM and from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM during the weekdays and from 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM during weekends and special days. There shall be an Abhijit Viramam (Temple closed) from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM during weekends and special days.
  1. Vahana (Vehicle) Pooja – Devotees should assemble atleast 30 minutes before for Vahana Pooja to be performed. Vahana Pooja. Vahana Pooja shall not be performed during extremely cold conditions, snow, rain due to unfavorable external weather.
  1. There shall be Annadaanam (Free food) in the Temple at all times when the Temple is open. Devotees may offer donation for Annadaanam to the Temple or offer materials for Special food might be available on somedays for purchase.
  1. Dress Code: All Devotees are requested to appropriately dress for their visit. Traditional/Cultural attire is highly encouraged! Short, revealing, knee-high attire (for adults) are strictly discouraged. Any visitor to the Temple must adhere to the Temple policies at all times while at the Temple premises.
